From there, continue to the remarkable Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the powerful female pharaoh who ruled Egypt independently for nearly 20 years. Built against dramatic cliffs, the temple stands as one of the most unique monuments in ancient Egypt.
Your tour concludes with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues that once guarded the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After completing the visits, return to your Nile cruise ship and begin sailing toward Edfu, passing through the Lock of Esna. Overnight on board in Edfu.
