The Great Pyramids of Giza stretch ahead to astonish you with their majestic construction high above the desert land. The mighty structure awaits you during your Egypt tour, while the Great Sphinx watches the world go by, holding its untold secrets from the days of the ancients.
The ultimate experience brings the traveler to the original Egyptian pyramids raised above the gigantic buildings at the Giza Plateau: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, which also apparently transcend human imaginative scrutiny and the test of time.
The southern part leads to Saqqara, which houses the first known burial sites of Egypt. Here is found the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the most advanced engineering at the time that brought man closer to the realization of magnificent future pyramids.
Feast at a charming eatery after a careful morning spent with the monuments before going to Alexandria.

Begin your visit to Alexandria by touring its ancient Greco-Roman center that both historical records and stories praise. Tour the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which used to serve as a combined Egyptian-Roman burial site. When built as a personal tomb, it turned into a communal burial site and now displays 300 historic tombs that display Alexandria's historical past.
The Pillar of Pompey stands tall with its temple remains, while the Citadel of Qaitbay watches as a castle defense fortress. Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay built the citadel to guard against Ottoman and Turkish threats, and it shows how Egypt thrived throughout history.
Take pleasure in viewing the Library of Alexandria building from the outside at the end of your Egypt trip through Alexandria. Take your meal at a local dining place before returning to Cairo.

Next is the Hatshepsut Temple, a magnificent monument dedicated to the extremely strong female ruler of Egypt. Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that stand watch over the ancient Theban ruins. It is time to head back to the cruise, which is ready to set sail for Edfu, after an enlightening day.
Return to your Nile cruise to embark on a voyage to Edfu Temple via the Lock of Esna, where you will spend the night, embracing the serenity of the Nile's tranquil waters under the star-studded canopy above.

The Nile cruise trip begins with breakfast on the ship before the ship takes you to the Edfu Temple of Horus along horse-drawn roads under sunny skies. The temple is doubly praised for its place on the list of Greco-Roman Wonders, but it is special with the giant pylons and accurate reliefs everywhere, which are occupied by Horus' legendary falcon statue.
Your Nile cruise itinerary begins with Kom Ombo Temple. Travelers visit the double temple at Kom Ombo because it maintains religious offerings to both Sobek, the horror crocodile god, and Horus, the mighty divine falcon deity.
