The first place to visit will be the Great Pyramids of Giza, which combine the three mythical pyramid structures of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure together with the Great Sphinx and ancient historical remains. Travelers should follow Saqqara to visit the Pyramid of King Djoser at this ancient site that represents the oldest pyramid in Egypt and holds a UNESCO World Heritage designation.

Visitors will continue to these eternal sites before dining at a traditional eatery to finally return to the hotel for relaxation.

July 31, 2027

Start your solar eclipse tour to Alexandria, that ancient Greco-Roman-Egyptian capital celebrated by history and legend. Visit the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an ancient Egyptian-Roman cemetery, then ascend to the memory of Pompey's Pillar, a colossal monument surrounded by remains of vanished temples.

Continue to visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, a strong castle protecting Egypt's northern coast, and end your Egypt tour in Alexandria by visiting the Library of Alexandria from the outside. 

After enjoying a delicious lunch at a local eatery, return to Cairo and spend the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

August 1, 2027

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel; now, it is time to step into history at the Egyptian Museum, the house to Tutankhamun's treasures and thousands of ancient artifacts. On to the Citadel of Saladin, where a scenic view unfurls the panoramic view over Cairo and the soaring Mohamed Ali Mosque. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant before exploring the amazing atmosphere of Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, a spice- and scent-filled event. 

At night, proceed to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor as one waits for a future solar eclipse to be indulged.

August 2, 2027

Start the day with breakfast at your hotel, as anticipation for the 2027 eclipse grows. Proceed to Karnak Temple, where ancient Egypt's mystique is set against an illumination of the astronomical phenomenon. 

During the instant that the moon passes in front of the sun, observe the otherworldly transformation of day into night as the stars appear and the sun's corona creates a radiating halo around the moon for 6 minutes and 23 seconds of transcendent vision. 

Then, visit Luxor Temple, whose hieroglyphs narrate tales of pharaohs and divine life. Your 4-night Nile River cruise begins from Luxor to Aswan in the evening, to await yet more wonderful exposures.

August 3, 2027

Begin the day with breakfast and then spend some time casually as the ship is sailing to explore the West Bank of Luxor. Walk into the Valley of the Kings, mythical lands filled with opulent tombs that tell the tales of Egypt's greatest pharaohs. 

Next is the Hatshepsut Temple, a magnificent monument dedicated to the extremely strong female ruler of Egypt. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues keeping guard over the ruins of ancient Thebes. It is time to head back to the cruise, which is ready to set sail for Edfu, after an enlightening day.

Return to your Nile cruise to embark on a voyage to Edfu Temple via the Lock of Esna, where you will spend the night, embracing the serenity of the Nile's tranquil waters under the star-studded canopy above.

Your cruise vacation starts with breakfast on board the ship, followed by a horse-drawn carriage ride through the bright, sunny streets leading to the Edfu Temple of Horus. Among the Greco-Roman Seven Wonders and classified for its exceptional preservation, the temple draws everyone with its colossal pylons coupled with precise reliefs and the legendary presence of Horus' falcon form.

You will board your Nile cruise and travel to Kom Ombo Temple. The day began with a wonderful breakfast to prepare you for your unique experiences in Aswan. The High Dam is your first destination because it is a wonderful structure that both managed the Nile floods and introduced light to Egypt. Look in wonder at this giant structure because it is fantastic human work that created these changes to the region. Our Egypt tour now moves to the Unfinished Obelisk, where one can learn about the massive granite stone that remained unfinished in ancient history. Master craftsmen once carved this monumental column, which they wanted to endure for eternity, but their work was left incomplete because history did not register why it was abandoned.

A leisurely motorboat ride will take you along the magnificent Nile waters as your tour continues to the magnificent Philae Temple, a work of perfection of the Ptolemaic era. The site was endangered by the rising water of the High Dam, but UNESCO made a valiant attempt at relocating it to higher land. You can witness its engravings in detail as your imagination walks alongside the pharaoh's spirit, which roams between walls.
